At night, I often have arthritic knee pain since I keep a cool bedroom. I can't wear compression sleeves at night, though, since I'm worried about circulation, and barely can wear them any longer in the daytime. When I saw these warmers, I thought I would try them.
They are working very well day and night. There is no compression and they stay up at all times. On me, they fit a couple of inches above the knee and like 6-7 inches below. I've had little or no knee pain at night while wearing them. However, we are having mild fall weather right now, so it's to be seen how well they do in much colder weather.
ALERT! These are NOT knee braces. These are soft knitted cotton knee covers / warmers.I have pain patches with lidocaine that I have to place right over my bony knee to get the best pain relief. The material is well made. It keeps its shape and looks great after washing
After knee replacement surgery, the skin around my knee was sensitive to the touch due to post op nerve reaction common with this type of surgery. Leggings were recommended to me but I don't like those when sleeping so I decided to check for knee warmers and voila! There is such a thing! I got these specifically to try to alleviate discomfort when sleeping, as the lightest sheet against my skin would activate refiring nerves and be unbearable. I slipped the sock on my knee and oh gosh, what a difference these made. Note that the knee socks are not support but that's not what I wanted. I wanted something to gently hug my knee and these were perfect. They are one size fits all but super stretchy and huggy. So glad I found these. Highly recommend.
Love these long sleeves. Really helps with the slight swelling I still get from my total knee replacement a few months ago. I can wear them under my jeans all day and they only slide down a few inches... and still stay above my knee.
My long socks will close the gap for warmth or can provide cool air if I roll them down. I got these specifically for cycling on my road bike in the cooler months. I will say that as I wear them at home (69 degrees inside) w gym shorts I can feel the warmth on my legs.
